AeroGraduates

We have a credit endorsement track for students enrolled in our Semi-Classical program for over seven continuous academic years. Eligible students are selected for Aerograduation which is a formal ceremony organized to celebrate the students talent with the presentation of international certificate, letters of recommendation, and an engraved personalized academy trophy as a recognition.

Current AeroGraduates

Kajal Raju (2007-2015): Aerodancer Kajal Raju is a senior at Mission High school, Fremont, California. Her experience under Director Ms. Ranjani Mandas guidance has empowered her to become a budding choreographer and a power packed artiste. Kajals determination earned her many awards in solo and group dance competitions regionally and Nationwide. Such laurels scepterd her to become a leader. Ms Kajal Raju is currently the captain of Ishaara - her Mission High school's Bollywood dance team, heads her Schools Bollywood dance Homecoming events and Multicultural shows and is the Founder and Captain of her High schools Bhangra team. Aerodancer Ms Kajal was one of the top 20 contestants selected out of 20,000 contestants for Dance India Dance India Season 2, 2015 aired on national TV. During her trip to India, Ms Kajal had the opportunity to teach few underprivileged children. Kajal also learns Bharatnatayam under the guidance of Smt Nirupama Vaidyanathan, Sankalpa School of Dance. Though her dance history and works of art speaks of all dance styles, as a State and regional Gymnast representing California, her skill sets in Contemporary Bollywood is unmatched.

Anuja Keerthi Konda (2006-2015): Anuja Konda, a freshman at Mission San Jose High School, started learning Semi-classical, Folk, Garba, and Bollywood dance forms at the age of five under the guidance of Guru Smt. Ranjani Manda, Artistic Director of Aerodance Academy. Anuja has won regional and national awards at dance competitions such as TANA, CCF, BATA, ICC, and FOGANA to name a few. Also, she has performed at Siliconandhra International Kuchipudi Convention and SFO Ethnic Dance Festival with her team. Moreover, she has choreographed and participated in several talent shows at her school. Dance has given her the confidence to grab opportunities such as emceeing the India Independence Day celebration by FIA 2015 and hosting a weekly radio show for children and young adults. She is MSJHS's Freshman Class President and actively participates in various leadership opportunities both in and out of school. In addition, she enjoys playing the piano and has been recognized by Certificate of Merit at the state level in 2015.

Past AeroGraduates

Kimaya Chalpe (2001-2012): Kimaya Chalpe is a sophomore attending Head-Royce School. She has been dancing with Aerodance since age three, participating in Semi-classical, Classical, Folk, Garba, and Bollywood dance styles. She is currently learning Western styles. This year will mark her 13th year of dancing. In addition to dancing Kimaya is a well versed singer and all her stage singing as a child called "lip singing" helped her create a landmark for herself today. She represented Aerodance in singing the National Anthem for the Warriors in NBA game on March 11, 2014 at the Oakland Arena. Kimaya actively participates and leads cultural programs to help involve as many people as possible in the theatre.

Aditi Gopalan (2003-2013): Aditi Gopalan a sophomore at American High School has been dancing since the age of five, learning semi classical, folk, garba, and bollywood dance forms from her Guru Smt. Ranjani Manda, Artistic Director of Aerodance Academy. She has also been a student of Indian classical dance Bharatanatyam under the guidance of Guru Smt. Deepa Mahadevan, Artistic director of Tiruchitrambalam School of Dance and has completed her Arangetram in August 2013. Aditi has won regional and national awards over the course of 12 years. Aditi has risen to a level of a teacher at both Aerodance and Tiruchitrambalam, and has choreographed dances for school events. She is passionate about choreographing dances and passing on her knowledge of dance to others. In the future, she hopes to continue dancing and teaching dance by setting up her own dance institution.

Ananya Krishnaswamy (2003-2013): Ananya Krishnaswamy has been learning Semiclassical, Folk, and Bollywood dance forms for more than eleven years under the guidance of Guru Smt. Ranjani Manda at the Aerodance Academy. Ananya has taught Bhangra class for the Challengers team at Aerodance and her team earned her a win at the CCF 2014 dance competition. Now as the Co-Captain of Irvington High School's Bhangra team Ananya has performed with schools productions such as Keep Calm and Dance On, Dil-se, Ritmo Latino, Nazaara, , high school rallies and assemblies. Ananya has also been learning Bharatanatyam under the tutelage of Guru Smt. Sundara Swaminathan from the age of Five and has performed in Kala Vandana productions like Dasavatharam, Reflections, Celebrations, and Spring recitals. In Addition she enjoys Parliamentary Debate and is the Secretary of Irvington High School's Debate team.

Sindhu Ravvuri (2001-2012):Sindhu entered Aerodance as a 3 year old with shy looks and but with great promise. As an Aerodancer she was trained in Semiclassical, Folk, and Bollywood art forms. She won for continuous laurels for a decade in bay area. Under Ranjani Mandas Guidance she played key roles in teaching Kuchipudi to little Aerodancers. Her marked performances are at regional and National productions namely TANA, Boogie Woogie, San Francisco Ethnic fest. Her work ethics and discipline have brought her to this level of Aerograduation where determination and patience have been the principles she adapted. Having been trained in Kuchipudi under guru Raja Reddy Radha Reddy she is now an international performer with extremely defined skills. She believes there is no end to learning.
